Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in O.T. Technician
Academic Qualifications:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Must have studied Science subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

Minimum aggregate marks:

45% for General category
-
40% for SC/ST or reserved categories

English must be one of the subjects in 10+2.

Candidates from NIOS, State Open Schools, or equivalent boards recognized by State/Central Government are also eligible.
Eligibility for Foreign Nationals:

Must possess qualifications equivalent to Indian 10+2.

Equivalence must be confirmed by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

The concerned institute and state council must ensure qualification matches the prescribed standard.
Reservation Policy:

3% Reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PwD):

Applicable for candidates with locomotor disability between 40% to 50% (especially lower limbs).

Final decision to be made by a state-authorized medical board and relevant healthcare expert panel.

5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.

Other reservations/quotas as per the State Government’s reservation policy shall apply.

Other Conditions:

Minimum Age: 17 years (as on 31st December of the admission year)
