Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Nursing
Academic Qualifications:

10+2 with English and a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination from a recognized board. Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.

Candidates appearing from recognized State Boards, NIOS, or State Open Schools are also eligible, provided they meet the subject and mark requirements.

Science stream is mandatory for B.Sc. Nursing admissions.

Candidates with vocational courses in Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE board or vocational ANM course recognized by Indian Nursing Council are not eligible for B.Sc. Nursing, but may be eligible for GNM.
Age Limit:

Minimum age for admission is 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year.

Upper age limit is 35 years.

No age limit for registered ANM/LHV candidates.
Additional Requirements:

Candidate must be medically fit.

Admission will be conducted once in a year.
Eligibility for Foreign Nationals:

Qualification equivalence (12th standard) must be obtained from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

The Institution and State Nursing Council must ensure that the foreign candidate’s qualification is equivalent to the Indian standard.
Reservation Policy:

3% seats reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PwD):

Applicable for candidates with locomotor disability of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity.

A medical board consisting of a state government-authorized medical officer and a nursing expert will assess the disability.

5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.

Other quotas/reservations as per State Government policy will be applicable.
